Three ways to bring us in
Fractional CRO: Senior revenue leadership part-time and ongoing, for companies that need one owner of the number without a full-time executive.
Interim CRO: A full-time leader for a set period — when your head of sales leaves, ahead of a raise, or after an acquisition.
Project: One defined job with a clear finish line, like a compensation plan redesign, a sales process and CRM build, or post-acquisition sales integration.
Many clients ask to bring their Top7 leader on full-time as they grow. Our contracts allow it — a chance to try before you buy.
Your first 90 days
Days 0–30: Stabilize. Audit the pipeline, win/loss patterns and rep performance to find exactly where deals stall.
Days 30–60: Execute. Define the sales process, clean up the CRM, set a forecast cadence and align compensation to targets.
Days 60–90: Hand off. Document the playbook, coach your managers, and define the full-time CRO profile if you need one.
Common questions
How much time will the CRO spend with us?
It depends on what your business needs. We take time to understand your environment first, then set the level of involvement — anywhere from about 8 hours a month up to 60.
What does it cost compared with a full-time CRO?
Typically between less than 10% and 60% of what a full-time CRO costs you. You pay for the senior judgment you need, not a full-time salary.
Can we hire our Top7 CRO full-time?
Yes. Many clients grow into the need for a full-time leader, and our contracts allow you to hire your Top7 teammate when you get there. It's a chance to try before you buy.
What's the difference between a CRO and a VP of Sales?
A VP of Sales runs the sales team. A CRO owns the whole revenue number across sales, marketing and customer success.
