Three ways to bring us in

Fractional CMO: Senior marketing leadership part-time and ongoing, for companies that need strategy and accountability without a full-time executive.

Interim CMO: A full-time leader for a set period — when your marketing leader leaves, or through a rebrand or major launch.

Project: One defined job with a clear finish line, like positioning and messaging, go-to-market and ideal customer definition, pricing and packaging, or pre-exit positioning.

Many clients ask to bring their Top7 leader on full-time as they grow. Our contracts allow it — a chance to try before you buy.

Your first 90 days

Days 0–30: Stabilize. Audit spend, channels and agencies, and stop what isn't working.

Days 30–60: Execute. Set the positioning and ideal customer, build a demand plan tied to pipeline targets, and align marketing with sales.

Days 60–90: Hand off. Document the playbook, build or right-size the team and agencies, and define the full-time hire if you need one.

Common questions

How much time will the CMO spend with us?

It depends on what your business needs. We take time to understand your environment first, then set the level of involvement — anywhere from about 8 hours a month up to 60.

What does it cost compared with a full-time CMO?

Typically between less than 10% and 60% of what a full-time CMO costs you. You pay for the senior judgment you need, not a full-time salary.

Can we hire our Top7 CMO full-time?

Yes. Many clients grow into the need for a full-time leader, and our contracts allow you to hire your Top7 teammate when you get there. It's a chance to try before you buy.

We already have an agency. Why do we need a CMO?

Agencies execute. A CMO decides what to execute, holds the agencies accountable and ties the work to revenue.
