Your numbers aren't telling you the truth.

Top7 puts a senior CFO in your business in days — to clean up the books, build a forecast you can trust and get you ready for the raise, acquisition or exit ahead.

Signs you need a CFO now

  • You find out how the month went three weeks after it ended.

  • Cash surprises you, even when the business is growing.

  • A raise, acquisition or sale is coming, and nobody on the team has run one.

  • Your board or investors are asking for numbers you can't produce with confidence.

Three ways to bring us in

Fractional CFO: Senior financial judgment part-time and ongoing, for when you need a strategic CFO but not a full-time salary.

Interim CFO: A full-time leader for a set period — when your CFO leaves suddenly, during a turnaround, or while you search for a permanent hire.

Project: One defined job with a clear finish line, like quality-of-earnings prep, a diligence model, or cleaning up the books before a raise.

Many clients ask to bring their Top7 leader on full-time as they grow. Our contracts allow it — a chance to try before you buy.

Your first 90 days

Days 0–30: Stabilize. Get cash visibility, clean up the books, and find the three numbers that actually run your business.

Days 30–60: Execute. Build a rolling forecast, a monthly close you can trust, and reporting your board will actually read.

Days 60–90: Hand off. Document the finance processes, coach your team, and decide whether you need a full-time CFO — and what that person should look like.

Common questions

How much time will the CFO spend with us?

It depends on what your business needs. We take time to understand your environment first, then set the level of involvement — anywhere from about 8 hours a month up to 60.

What does it cost compared with a full-time CFO?

Typically between less than 10% and 60% of what a full-time CFO costs you. You pay for the senior judgment you need, not a full-time salary.

Can we hire our Top7 CFO full-time?

Yes. Many clients grow into the need for a full-time leader, and our contracts allow you to hire your Top7 teammate when you get there. It's a chance to try before you buy.

How is a fractional CFO different from a bookkeeper or controller?

A controller records what happened. A CFO tells you what to do next: pricing, cash, capital and how you'll exit.

▲ READY WHEN YOU ARE

Bring us the numbers that don't add up. We'll bring the CFO who's fixed them before.
